The security officers are monitored through patrolling systems (Sentinel), control room reports (hourly confirmations), site visits through management and Supervisors on site.
Staffs are required to take regular voice stress tests and staffs receive ongoing on-site training to ensure that they are equipped for the tasks that they must execute.

The requirements of the contract are unarmed guarding on sites, there are also armed escort requirements on road for high risk cargo. On these permanent sites a wide variety of full shipping containers are stored, adding up to millions of rand in value. City Linehaul has experienced large rand value losses due to theft and armed robberies in the past. City Linehaul was satisfied that RPU (Pty) Ltd complied to all statutory requirements. RPU (Pty) Ltd has trained security guards that have the necessary competency certificates to handle fire arms, as well as a competent team of managers that would be able to control the fire arms according to legal requirements.”
